Playtime is a 2026 American computer-animated comedy buddy film produced by Owen Laramore Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Gary Marsh and Roberts Gannaway, it is the sixteenth Owen Laramore Entertainment feature film, and stars the voices of Chris Pratt, Jim Carrey, Forest Whitaker, Vanessa Williams, Jay Ryan, Ari Graynor, Annaleigh Ashford, Laura Ann Kesling, Cozi Zuelhsdorff, and Christina Applegate.
The film was confirmed in 2021 following the box-office success of The Jessie Movie, which Gannaway and Marsh also directed. Playtime is also the first Owen Laramore film to be released under its newly-changed name, as well as the first Owen Laramore film to be released after Disney acquired Owen Laramore Entertainment on January 3, 2026.
Upon release on May 4, 2026, Playtime received positive reviews from critics, praising the humor, the musical score, the subject matter, and the animation. The film also grossed $789 million against its $200 million budget.
It was the first installment in the Playtime film series. A sequel, Playtime 2, was released on May 16, 2029.
