Shopkins: The Movie is a 2019 animated comedy film based on the Moose Toys brand and the cartoon webseries of the same name. The film serves as the last film based on the toy brand and the cartoon.
The cartoon's voice actors, including Kate Murphy, Brianna Plantano, Cassandra Lee Morris, Abby Trott, Kayli Mills and Erika Harlacher, reprise their roles as many of the recurring characters who appeared in the cartoon, such as Apple Blossom, Cheeky Chocolate, Lippy Lips, Peppa-Mint, Buncho Bananas, Jessicake, Donatina, Rainbow Kate, and Bubbleisha, respectively. In addition to Murphy, Trott and Harlacher reprising their roles, they voice new characters, such as Poppy Corn, Popette, Marabel Music Player, and Pam Cake, respectively. Colin Farrell and T.J. Miller join the voice cast.
Following the 1-year conclusion of the cartoon in 2018, Shopkins: The Movie premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival on October 4, 2019 and was theatrically released in the United States on November 1, 2019. Out of all the films based on the toy brand and the cartoon, it received positive reviews from critics, who praised its animation, humor, screenplay, visuals and voice acting. It was also a box office success, grossing over $628 million worldwide against a $90 million budget.
