Hotel Transylvania 5: Hunting the end is an upcoming American computer animated comedy adventure film produced by Sony Pictures Animation and distributed by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Releasing. After years, this would indeed be the last installment of this Sony saga, directed by chris wedge (known for being the director of The ice age, robots, epic, and monster trucks); and on this occasion, the leading roles change, this time being that the protagonists are Mavis Dracula (Selena Gomez), Johnny (Andy Samberg), and Dennis (Asher Blinkoff). who are now the new owners of the hotel, and totally renovated and rebuilt (after the events of h.t. transformania).

Synopsis

(after the events in Transformania); Mavis, Johnny and Dennis ARE NOW THE NEW OWNERS of the hotel and they will continue and respect the legacy left by their father Dracula, this is clear with their style now that they have remodeled the hotel. But it is clear that the happiness of the 3 was not going to last at all, a "new" enemy would have appeared out of nowhere to ruin the life of Dracula's family: a supposed "HUNTER" of vampires, would have very strong hostile intentions against the daughter of Dracula, her husband and her beloved son, and above all also against monsters.

Could it be that Mavis, Jonathan and Dennis will be able to stop them with a few threats? (hey well, actually, that threat was an old acquaintance from so long ago).

Plot

a few days after the inauguration of the renovation of the hotel (in the style and manner of mavis and Jonathan), and of course they did not do badly at all, on the contrary; All that reconstruction of the hotel benefited them and with this, more monsters from other places and countries stayed there, and earning more money to make more improvements and more remodeling of the hotel, and with this, the hotel became more known.

Mavis (who is Dracula's daughter) did all this together with the help of her husband, Johnatan, who additionally worked as a security guard at an airport; and with what he earned he gave it to the hotel. They do all this to cheer up Dracula (happy), who worked hard at the hotel for a long time, more than anything else, he did it, the only thing that interests her is the happiness of her family, her friends and above all that her father feel proud of her, so that she can see that mavis and her husband can be responsible. She and her family, all this time would be in peace and harmony together with the monsters and humans, and everyone would be happy. but hey, at least that lasted as long as it had to last, because soon something terrible would be coming for the first time in their lives.

On a night like any other, Mavis and Johnny were serving a few guests (monsters) to give them their rooms, one of the bad bats that they had previously fought (basically it was one of Bela's henchmen) arrived out of nowhere. to annoy, persuade and harass those who were there, threatening them that something was coming to them and laughing like crazy. Mavis, already getting annoyed with him and his nonsense, kicked him out with great hostility or rather beatings, saying that he should leave her and her family alone and that he did not take it seriously; He just left the place with his uncomfortable smile, Jonathan, seeing her upset and nervous about what happened, tried to calm her down but she still apologized for acting like that, but what was the right thing to do for monsters or people who acted like that if she didn't understand with words; So with nothing else to do, they all went to their rooms to sleep and forget what happened (but it was a mistake to ignore him almost of his nonsense or his threats, that apparently he wasn't lying about everything). since a surprise attack was coming very soon.

about 3 days after that, mavis had found out that her beloved Jonathan's birthday had already passed, she was sad by not giving him anything or not throwing him any party, but he told her that he did not want to worry her about insignificant things (according to Jonathan), but she did not agree with what he said and promised him that they would have his party later, but he declared that he has what matters most to him in the world besides his backpack, it was her and her son and the hotel (especially Mavis), and he also apologized for being hypocritical or selfish for the fact that he was going to manage the hotel, instead of the 2 of them, and he felt stupid about it. she is happy she kisses him and tells him that she loves him so much, and then Jonathan says that it will be their anniversary soon and that his surprise or gift is nothing more than her and her son, Mavis is happy about that And for their soon-to-be-celebrated anniversary, she decides to pack her bags to go to Hawaii (or as Mavis would say, paradise) where they went for her 118th birthday.

she wakes up outside one of the castles tied by the hands and held by some bats to enter a castle and when she entered she saw several of the bad bats that survived but a few more of different colors, but mavis got another big and unexpected surprise! that apparently their leader was nothing more and nothing less than: wesloy belmmont (the supposed vampire hunter that she and Jonathan saw that night before they went to hawaii). Mavis, angry and confused, began to say: I always knew that you gave off a bad feeling since we first saw you, what are you doing here with them? And what are your true intentions, huh? Wesloy, clarifying his doubts, had told him that those bats have worked for him since he can remember and when he met them, he and the others built this castle to take refuge in this place, and above all he only said that it was time to take revenge; And as an additional bonus, the vampire hunter began to make fun of her for how she suffered and cried for the supposed death of her husband (but of course she was even more confused by what he was saying and inside she felt that then, Jonathan could be here and kidnapped. and that he was never dead).

And the other monsters and friends? but only the hunter began to laugh more at her and so did the other bats. so much so that mavis began to grab or feel strength like never before, and she managed to free herself from the chains that she was tied up and began to fight with some who were there, wesloy belmont of course began to say that they should start attacking the bat woman, she fought like she could but even so there were many and she was alone, and she was easily cornered and they rushed towards her to bite her, scratch her or simply hit her; Wesloy already ordering them to leave her so he could finish her off, already a little injured, he was about to kill her, until... he began to hear strange blows coming from outside and more explosions, the Czech and what he did not expect was from a surprise attack that did nothing more and nothing less than: dracula and erika (they managed to find out that mavis would be in that place), they began to launch missiles to destroy her castle and murray and frankenstein came out and rushed towards the castle to attack and help to mavis, while erika attacked through the sky, Drac in the form of a bat was in charge of some and looking for the hunter, Mavis took advantage of this surprise attack and excited for the help, she decided to look for prisoners and also for Johnny, she found hanging cages and saw an acquaintance locked up there, the invisible man , Wayne the werewolf and his wife Wanda with their children, Eunice, several monsters but above all he was surprised and scared to see part of Jonathan's family (except Jonathan's mother and Dennis), and above all he saw the love of his life alive and who was locked in an individual cage all beaten and hurt, mavis cried with happiness but also with sadness to see everyone there and more his love, mavis wanted to go to the cages but some prevented him bats, but frank threw himself towards them and to sacrifice himself so that mavis could escape, she wanted to help but murray grabbed her and they fled the place and mavis couldn't save johnny or the others, she felt a little sad but at least she knows where They are now and she swore to herself that she would return to the place very soon to save them all, Dracula and the others left so as not to fall into any Belmmont trap, most of them managed to flee the place, while the hunter was all angry and frustrated After seeing the shelter destroyed (the castle), due to a strange event, he began to roar like the bad vampires, henchmen of Bela, he yelled at everyone to prepare plan b, and have everything ready. and in that he moves away and he can see his shadow, but there in his shadow his true form is revealed, like a giant creature (could it be that he was not human all this time, was someone a monster or a bat?).

Dracula, all panicked and scared but frustrated, began to tell his daughter why he never told her anything about the attack? That he took refuge in Jonathan's parents' house?, And why did she go to investigate that place alone?. Mavis with tears in her eyes, at first she did not have the strength to look him in the eye, and she only said: I thought you were only interested in the hotel, nothing else. I failed you dad, I'm a disgusting daughter. and I start to cry.

Dracula, surprised, but already calm, said to her: Mavis, I never said anything about the hotel, that doesn't matter now. you scared me, you worried me and a lot, you, Dennis and Jonathan. I thought I had made it clear that the hotel no longer matters, if not the family; that can be rebuilt, but what cannot be replaced is a family and a daughter like you. I'm sorry if you thought I cared about the hotel, but I really don't. I only care about you, erika, martha, and my friends. and never say again that you are disgusting or anything like that or in jest, you are and always will be my proud daughter. He went to get everyone who was there, and he was happy to see Jonathan, he was separated from the group of other monsters, all wounded, and in the end, he finished freeing him, at first he did not recognize where he was but when he recovered his conscience, and seeing Mavis safe and sound, she was happy and they 2 hugged each other as if they had never seen each other hurt. Mavis, crying with joy, told him that she thought she would never be with the hunter alive. but leaving aside the reunions, the others and they acted quickly and evacuated as they could, they managed to see some small separate islands, Mavis told the monsters to gather on some of them. while mavis was trying to drive away some of the bats; frank, the invisible man and wayne would protect the monsters while they reached the mainland safely. Jonathan did not want to leave his wife fighting alone with them, Mavis at first did not want to to keep him safe, but he managed to hit a bat that was about to attack Mavis from behind, and she decided to let him help her and they began to get rid of some.

Even though they managed to defeat a few, the hunter sent the order to kill the couple, and many more appeared. Mavis and Johnny couldn't handle them anymore and decided to hide for now to miss them or confuse them, and they succeeded, but one of them The bats throw the two of them into the sea, and believing that neither of them knew how to swim, he retreats; of course without knowing that they were still alive and the sea dragged them towards a small island.

In another dawn Mavis wakes up all confused, but she wakes up under a fort or a kind of wooden house (that Jonathan made), to keep away from the sun and she saw a few things that she recognized and a coconut there prepared for her to take and a ring that was hers, and near the sea and the sand she saw Jonathan collecting more wood, without thinking she decided to hit him as a surprise attack: pushing him into the sea, and from then on the two of them were playing splashing each other for a few long minutes. the water, chasing each other and etc. Then the two of them looked at each other intently, with a lot of love and as if an eternity had passed, Mavis told him that she knew he was alive and that she knew she would find him, she thought she lost him and she hugged him and cried with him, Jonathan told her He only said: you will never be alone, I will always be there to take care of you. They enjoyed a little solitude, the two of them alone together, while it was getting dark and he also told him what they did to him after the dream in Hawaii. A few hours later, in a large zeppelin driven by Erika, they were heading to the place where the hunter Wesloy Belmmont's lair was; But with the power of his supervision of the eye of Dracula, he sees that they advanced with ships and in them were the prisoners and a large artifact, but he did not know if it was dangerous or not yet (but it was), he advanced as quickly as they could but as a surprise. They found all the monsters and their friends and some of Jonathan's relatives, but Dracula couldn't see his daughter and Johnny anywhere; and he got worried, Erika calms him down but then the radio sounds turning on, something strange for her and for Dracula since no one or none of them turned it on, but it turns out that somewhere else, the hunter had already arrived at the destination where many people lived. people: NEW YORK. Dracula and Ericka, surprised and scared by what they heard, but would NOT sit idly by, picked up the monsters and their well-known lifelong friends, and decided to march towards the United States: New York to be more specific. while Dracula meditated and thought that because his daughter made him sick to make them sleep but he tried to understand her, what one would do in desperate measures to sacrifice, kill or save lives, and Dracula only said: you came out just as foolish or desperate as your father my daughter haha. and they went to new york as much as possible.

The real nightmares will begin for the stupid humans who are outside watching and waiting for something to happen and who would also take their revenge (I had already said that at a previous moment); Mavis, angry but confused, could only tell him what the hell he was talking about? In that case, they were elevated, so to speak, to be exived by the inhabitants who were in New York, and from there the hunter would appear to "exhibit the criminals of a supposedly future invasion of monsters to the city. At first, all the people did react scared." But they still distrusted this hunter a little, but then he shows a "video evidence" where they show the two of them making a mess in a town (but of course that is edited and false). Mavis and Johnny couldn't believe what they saw. , and Mavis is about to give up again, but not before telling the hunter that he is a liar and also shouting that he would regret doing this and that he would pay a price. At that point, he takes out the giant device that will make Mavis pubertize or crumble into dust. they, a little scared, held hands and accepting their fate, they could not say goodbye to everyone and their son, sad and accepting their fate, something unexpected happened.

Some shots would arrive at the place from a giant zeppelin, the hunter scared and frustrated that someone had arrived to ruin his plan, so he decided to make the move very quickly and decided to free all the bats he brought and ordered them to strike at once. once at the humans and him shouting that he had lied to them and that they prepare for their deaths, then some monsters come out to defend and fight with the bats again and among them are frankenstein, murray, wayen, Griffin, an invisible man and Blobby. And then Dracula comes out to save his beloved daughter: Mavis and Jonathan. Dracula tells him that they are going to end this and that he will never touch his family again. Mavis and Johnny, moved and happy to see him, decide to act and save the humans.
