Natalia Dyer (born January 13, 1997) is an American actress. She is best known for playing Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things.

Early life and education

Dyer grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated from the performing arts high school Nashville School of the Arts.


Dyer's first role was as Clarissa Granger in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009. In 2011, she appeared in The Greening of Whitney Brown. Dyer then starred in the indie film I Believe in Unicorns, which premiered in 2014 at SXSW. In 2016, Dyer was cast as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things. In 2019, Dyer starred as Coco in the Netflix horror film Velvet Buzzsaw.

Personal life

Dyer moved to New York City and enrolled at NYU in 2014–2015, studying at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
