Age of Reptiles is a 2011 American-Japanese animated anthology film based on the Age of Reptiles comic series written by Ricardo Delgado and Dark Horse
Comics. The film consists of three segments animated overseas by Japanese Animation Studio Khara based on "Tribal Warfare," "The Hunt" and "The Journey."
The film was released simultaneously on Adult Swim and on home video on March 15, 2011 to highly positive reviews from critics, with praise for it's faithfulness to the original comics, animation and music. A sequel, Age of Reptiles II, was released in 2017.
Plot
Tribal Warfare
A Deinonychus pack successfully hunt down a small sauropod. However, Blue Back, a Tyrannosaur, steals their meal, even killing one of the pack members.
