Save The Last Dance is an upcoming American dance film. It serves as a continuation of Save The Last Dance franchise, with Ne-Yo and Julia Stiles starring. The film is slated to release in theaters on December 12th, 2025.
Sypnosis
Wendy is a skilled dancer and a student in San Francisco who has his life uprooted when her dad decides that they’re moving to Chicago for a work opportunity. Wendy is grappling with a past tragedy and bumping up against her butcher father, who is dealing with the same tragedy but in an altogether different manner. While her dad is against dancing and romance, Wendy finds purpose by training herself to make her dream a reality by trying to enter the Julliard Academy.

Production
Pre-production for the film, without the inclusion of American writers and actors who are still on strike, began on August 7, 2023, with an expected shoot date of September 4, 2023, in Chicago, Illonois.[2] Ultimately, production and filming was postponed as Paramount launched a global casting campaign to find their teenaged lead.
