Fantastic Four is a 2023 movie starring Andrew Garfield, Teresa Palmer, Ansel Elgort, Ryan Gosling, Rami Malek, Michael Chiklis, Denzel Washington. The movie is the introduction of the Fantastic Four into the MCU, and covers their origin story. The movie takes place in the year 2027, one year after the events of Avengers: Galactic Threat and four years after the events of X-Men: RISE.

Ten Years Ago[]
Ten years ago, in the year 2017, Reed Richards (Andrew Garfield) is a student in high school, and works on a science project with Victor Von Doom (Rami Malek) that shows how matter can change into other matter through enough concentration. Reed and Victor get first place in the science fair, and are offered scholarships to NYU, where they will be trained by Dr. William Lumpkin (Denzel Washington), who tells the two that their work will be recognized by many. Reed and Victor go to live in the Baxter Building, which is near the campus of NYU. There, they meet Dr. Franklin Storm (Michael Chiklis) and his kids Susan (Teresa Palmer) and Johnny (Ansel Elgort), who have also been accepted into NYU. Reed is roomed with classmate Ben Grimm (Ryan Gosling), who asks Reed if he knows about "the program". Reed says he doesn't, and Grimm tells Reed that the program is still inbuilding, but that they invited him for it.
