Dr. Seuss' Horton And the Kwuggerbug is a 2025 computer-animated comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox for Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Lori Forte in her directorial debut, the film features the voices of Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Jack Davenport, Ashley Tisdale, and Liam Neeson.
It turned the 2008 film Dr. Seuss` Horton Hears A Who! into the 3rd Blue Sky Studios film to become a franchise, after Ice Age and Rio. It was also the the second Dr. Seuss film from Disney, the third Dr. Seuss film starring Jim Carrey, and the first sequel to any Dr. Seuss film.
Released theatrically on September 2, 2025, the film received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for its humor, voice performances, musical score, screenplay, animation, and Forte's direction although some said it was predictable to the source material. The film has grossed $398 million worldwide on a $72 million budget.
