(I think Blossom Commits Tax Fraud is a better 5th episode idea than the other one.)

Akana was going to deliver a box of flowers for her grandmother but since she has a broken leg from an accident, she decided to sent Naneta to deliver the flowers (she also request Naneta to wear a red hood since she is delivering flowers) but while Naneta was going to Akana's grandmother's house, Domohito, Naneta's 1-year older stalker who found his was to Tokyo, starts to follow her to "put her in her place".
Synopsis
Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup have been saving Townsville for many years. But when a portal that the Professor recently invented starts malfunctioning, the Girls discover their past selves: the 1998-2005 Powerpuff Girls! To save their dimensions from being destroyed, they must team up with the 1998-2005 Girls to go through other dimensions, while also meeting their other past selves, such as the 2014 Girls, their 2006-2007 PPGZ's, and the 1992 Girls.

On the way, Naneta met her cousin Torka who was being babysat by Yana and Chika. Torka asked Naneta what she is doing and Naneta told her that she is delivering flowers to Akana's grandmother since she has a broken leg, Yana and Chika asked if they can follow her and Naneta, feeling like Domohito was following her, told them that they can follow her but when they get to Akana's grandmother's house, they must stand guard infront of the door to make sure Domohito does not get to her.
Plot
The film begins with a stage with the red curtains above. Bubbles thanks the audience for coming as she tells us that this is the story of how the Powerpuff Girls met their past selves and teamed up with them. She then starts reading the opening quotes (from the 1998-2005 series) on her paper. As she reads them, the curtains open to reveal a skyline of Townsville.

Domohito was hearing everything and, in order to prevent himself from getting attacked, decided to go to Akana's grandmother's house before Naneta, Yana, Chika and Torka get and when he got there, he used his witch doctor magic to put Akana's grandmother to sleep and put her in a closet so he can dress up as her to trap Naneta.
Powerpuff Girls Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and Blisstina Utonium discover what it feels like to stick together, while also meeting up with Jared, Barry, the Derbytantes, and other classmates. The next day, Professor Utonium invents a time portal and the Girls are amused. Afterwards, Rowdyruff Boys Brick, Boomer, Butch, and Blake break in and rewire the circuits of the portal, thus making it malfunction and start releasing the Powerpuff Girls' past selves.

Naneta, Yana, Chika and Torka finally got to Akana's grandmother's house and while Naneta went into her house to give her the flowers, Yana, Chika and Torka stood guard. Naneta said hello to "Akana's grandmother" and when she put the flowers on the vase, Domohoto took off his disguise and began to trap Naneta until Yana, Chika and Torka barged into the house and start to restrain Domohito as it was revealed that Torka saw Domohito hearing what Naneta was saying.
On the way to school, Bubbles thinks about the important things in her lifetime. The Girls enter the school, and Blossom sees Jared. Bliss asks Blossom if she's gonna talk to him, and Blossom tells her that she hasn't decided yet. Later at lunchtime, Blossom talks to her sisters about the past of Townsville, in which she learned about. Bubbles tells Blossom that wisdom, humility, and honesty are the three things that she is looking for, even though she is the cute one. Jared Shapiro calls Blossom, and he tells her that he found out about the other versions of the Powerpuff Girls. He also tells her that the Rowdyruff Boys tampered with the Professor's portal. At the Girls' table Bubbles tells Buttercup that the past comes before the present. Blossom later comes back to the table and tells Bubbles and Buttercup that there really are other versions of the Powerpuff Girls in main, parallel, and alternate universes.

After Domohito was arrested by the police, Naneta broke his sleeping magic with her own witch doctor magic to wake up Akana's grandmother and told her that Akana wanted to deliver the flowers herself but was unable to due to her leg. Akana's grandmother understood so she took Naneta, Yana, Chika and Torka back to the orphanage Akana lives in and when Akana asked Naneta what went wrong with the delivery, Naneta said that she got a little sidetracked.
Later, when the Girls got back from school, they discover that the portal had been malfunctioning. After trying to fix it, the portal inadvertently brings in the 1998 Girls. They tell them that nothing is what is seems in all the dimensions, and that Mojo Jojo is planning to destroy the Townsville of the multiverse. The next day, the six girls fly over to their school, only for Miss Keane to realize that there were six Powerpuff Girls in the school, leaving her confused. They then fly over to the Mayor’s office, only for the Mayor to get confused about their differences and get his assistant Ms. Bellum to get them out. Back at home, the Professor is concerned about their differences and looks, as well as why the portal was malfunctioning, and tells the seven girls that their universes are getting destroyed. So he tasks the six girls to get more of their old selves to put together a team.

In their room, they think of a plan to stop Mojo Jojo by joining forces with each other. They later sneak into the Derbytantes' lair, thus sending the 1998 Girls to sneak up on Maylyn, who later discovers that there are two Buttercups, two Blossoms, and two Bubbleses. They later talk about why the portal had been malfunctioning. Bubbles tells the Derbytantes the truth about what happened. Once the seven Girls got home, the portal brings in the 2014 Girls who offer to help them with their mission.

In the lab, Bliss reveals to the Girls a Powerpuff Time Machine, and shows them the Orb of Main, Parallel, and Alternate Universes. The ten girls fly to different universes with a time machine: first the 1992 universe, then the 1998-2005 universe, the 2014 universe, the 1995 universe, the Powerpuff Girls Z universe, the Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi universe, and finally the live-action Powerpuff universe. On the way, they recruit the 1992 Girls, the 1995 Girls, the PPGZ Girls, the PPGD Girls, and the live-action Powerpuff Girls. Afterwards, they travel between other Powerpuff dimensions to get back to the 2016 universe.

Meanwhile, Mojo Jojo, assembles his team, which includes Fuzzy Lumpkins, Princess Morbucks, the Rowdyruff Boys, the Amoeba Boys, the Gangreen Gang, HIM, Duplikate, Bianca Bikini, Barbarus Bikini, the Sporde, Silico, Sedusa, Packrat, Manboy, and the other villains from other universes to form a team, so that they can defeat the Girls once they show up.

The Girls make it to the 2016 universe. They fly over to their house, and Professor Utonium agrees to have them stay with them for the training days. After a lot of days of training, the Girls fly off to Townsville. They face Mojo and his gang, and try to battle him, but they are all outnumbered. 2016 Blossom tries to unleash the other versions of the Powerpuff Girls using the Orb of Main, Parallel, and Alternate Universes, but when Bliss tries to stop her from doing so, 2016 Blossom pushes Bliss away. Bliss tries to use her telekinesis, but it doesn’t work. The villains easily defeat the Girls, and Mojo swats the Girls, and they land into the junkyard with a thud. After an argument between Bliss and 2016 Blossom, the Girls all split up.

2016 Bubbles gets heartbroken about what 2016 Blossom did to them and starts crying. After 1998 Bubbles, 1998 Buttercup, the 1992 Girls, the 1995 Girls, the PPGD Girls, the live-action Powerpuff Girls, the PPGZ Girls, and the 2014 Girls went home to their respective dimensions, 2016 Buttercup tells 2016 Bubbles that there's no end of friendship and 2016 Bubbles feels better and hugs 2016 Buttercup, and then they went home so 2016 Buttercup can watch a Space Tow Truck episode and 2016 Bubbles can go to sleep. She tells 2016 Buttercup good night and that she’ll see her tomorrow. Then, she hears crying in the other room. 2016 Bubbles walks through the doorway to Bliss’ room to see Bliss crying on her bed. She comforts Bliss and reminds her that she will always be a Powerpuff Girl and after having a good talk, the two hug. Afterwards, 2016 Bubbles tells Bliss good night, goes back to her room, and drifts to sleep.

Meanwhile that night, a sad 2016 Blossom is sitting alone in the middle of the junkyard. She starts crying because of the argument she and Bliss had earlier. 1998 Blossom comes to her and comforts her. 1998 Blossom talks with 2016 Blossom, and 1998 Blossom tells her that it is never too late to do the right thing. Unfortunately, 2016 Princess Morbucks and her 1998 counterpart kidnap the Blossoms and takes them back to the 1998-2005 universe, sending them to Mojo Jojo’s lair. The next day, 2016 Bubbles wakes up to a new day, and finds a letter on Octi’s head, so she reads it, and in shock, she discovers that the Blossoms have been kidnapped, so she tells 2016 Buttercup and Bliss about it, and then they tell 1998 Bubbles and 1998 Buttercup, who discovered that their Blossom has been kidnapped as well. The Bubbleses and Buttercups, as well as the other Powerpuff Girls arrive too. Bliss and the Girls fly to the 1998-2005 universe using the Powerpuff Time Machine.

Meanwhile, 2016 Mojo Jojo reveals to the Blossoms that he is now working for 1998 Mojo Jojo. The Mojo Jojos activate the killing machine to start erasing the Blossoms forever. The Girls arrive and were gonna rescue the two from the machine. However, they refused to rescue the two after 2016 Buttercup told them about how 2016 Blossom insulted Bliss yesterday. So they all left the two behind and went back to their respective dimensions

Later, they were all hanging out in Town Hall, but they were not happy. Bliss regrets denying the idea of unleashing Powerpuff Girls from other universes, and realizes that Blossom was right: the best way to defeat them is to unleash the Powerpuff Girls of Infinite Earths, and 2016 Buttercup realizes how much of a jerk she was about what she said. Bliss tells the Girls that she has to unleash the Powerpuff Girls of Infinite Earths because that’s what 2016 Blossom always wanted, and then tells 2016 Buttercup that they have to go back to the 1998-2005 universe to rescue the Blossoms, and 2016 Buttercup agrees. They gathered everyone from their universes again after they went home from refusing to rescue 1998 Blossom and 2016 Blossom, and using the Powerpuff Time Machine, they went back to the 1998-2005 universe, but this time, they actually rescue the two from the machine. The Buttercups unplug the machine. 2016 Blossom and Bliss reconcile, and the Girls promise to work together, this time as a team, and fly back to the 2016 universe.

2016 Blossom gives up her leadership to Bliss, who uses the Orb of Main, Parallel, and Alternate Universes to form the “Powerpuff Girls of Infinite Earths”: the Powerpunk Girls, the Powerpup Girls, the Powerpuff Animals, the 1920s Cartoon Girls, the dancing robotic Powerpuff Girls, Bunny, Bell, Bloom, Bullet, and many other versions of the Girls. They easily overpower the Villains, and then, Dynamo and Brambles take out the other bad guys. When Mojo Jojo and his crew have surrounded the Girls, Professor Utonium, the Derbytantes, and everybody else, come to their rescue, with the Derbytantes finally taking down the bad guys. Then, Mojo Jojo's evil primates arrive, but Bliss and 2016 Blossom work together to fight all the primates while singing Karmin’s “Brokenhearted”, joined by the 2016 Bubbles, 2016 Buttercup, the 1998 Girls, the 1995 Girls, the 1992 Girls, the 2014 Girls, the PPGZ girls, the PPGD Girls, the live-action Powerpuff Girls, Professor Utonium, The Mayor of Townsville, Ms. Bellum, Maylyn, and the Derbytantes. After the other villains are defeated, Mojo Jojo injects himself with Chemical X and grows into a giant monster, and starts destroying Townsville. The Professor reveals that he has brought an Antidote X with him, but 2016 Blossom sacrifices herself to defeat giant Mojo Jojo by plummeting him onto the ground, causing a huge explosion. The Antidote X shrinks Mojo down to his original size, battered and defeated.

All of the Girls, including Bliss, Professor Utonium, and Maylyn look for 2016 Blossom until Bliss finds 2016 Blossom’s unconscious body. Bliss tries to wake 2016 Blossom up, but it was no use. Devastated, Bliss hugs 2016 Blossom and starts crying as she mourns over her sister, who wakes up, and reveals to Bliss and the others that she has done what’s right. Bliss was happy that 2016 Blossom did the right thing, and 1998 Blossom says that she was proud of what 2016 Blossom has done. The police arrests all of the 2016 villains for all their crimes, while the other 1992, 1995, 1998, 2014, and PPGZ villains are returned back into their respective universes.

With the Townsvilles finally at peace, all of the Girls are sent home to their respective dimensions. One week later, Townsville has now become more peaceful than before. The portal is fixed, and the bad guys are taken to jail. The 2016 Powerpuff Girls are glad that they don’t have to endure another multiverse-threatening crossover for at least another year, and they make a promise to keep saving Townsville no matter what happens. The narrator says “And so once again, with the help of all of their past selves and main, parallel, and alternate versions, the day is saved, thanks to: The Powerpuff Girls! You know, it’s not hard to know this is the end of the series. I guess I’ll cut it off here. Good night everyone!” And then the song ends and the curtains close, ending the film and the series.

Development
After Warner Animation Group and Cartoon Network started development on films for a shared Cartoon Network universe, developers Nick Jennings and Bob Boyle announced a sequel to The Powerpuff Girls Movie for November 2024. This resulted in the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls being brought back by Cartoon Network Studios on May 20, 2022 and renewing it for three more seasons (Seasons 4, 5, and 6), making this reboot conclude after six seasons (as well as the musical movie), the same amount as the 1998 series. All cringe and toilet humor in this reboot were permanently removed from the series (meaning no more twerking or outdated memes from Season 4 onward), as musical numbers, a lot of heart, and heartwarming messages were put in to replace the cringe and toilet humor previously used in Seasons 1-3. Amanda Leighton, Kristen Li, and Natalie Palamides improved on their voice acting on Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. The trio in Seasons 4-6 the reboot was added up to four, with Blisstina being the newest member of the group.

Starting with Season 4, the animators stopped using the digital ink and paint method for animating the episodes, resulting in traditional animation no longer being used for the series. Starting with Season 4, the animation studio for the series switched over to have 2 animation studios, which are Copernicus Studios and Bardel Entertainment in Canada, and as a result of that, the animators at the 2 aforementioned studios started animating the series using 2D animation and CGI computer graphics. The characters were 2D animated with Toon Boom Harmony, while the rest was animated in CGI with CG Maya (backgrounds, vehicles, trees, robots, etc). Soon after, Copernicus Studios provided all the 2D animation with Toon Boom Harmony, and Bardel Entertainment also provided some additional 2D animation with Toon Boom Harmony, but provided all the CGI with CG Maya, meaning Brdel Entertainment provided all of the 3D/CGI animation for the series. The developers decided to animate everything (backgrounds, houses, trees, water (oceans, lakes, pools, and ponds), buildings, the sky, places (the inside of the places as well), all types of vehicles (land vehicles, sea vehicles, air vehicles, helicopters, planes, blimps, submarines, etc.) in CGI, except the characters (except in scenes where it would be too hard to put the 2D animated versions of the characters, which so they were also animated in CGI), so they can give it more realism and sometimes put the camera like in a real scene wherever they like.

All of the CGI has been made in the same style, same frame rate, and same lighting as in the racing game by Playground Games (now part of Xbox Game Studios) Forza Horizon 5. In addition, the characters were sometimes given the same shading as the backgrounds to further match it. The frame rate for the 2D animation has also been changed to match the same as with the CGI animation. Additionally, everything (backgrounds, houses, trees, water (oceans, lakes, pools, and ponds), buildings, the sky, places (the inside of the places as well), all types of vehicles (land vehicles, sea vehicles, air vehicles, helicopters, planes, blimps, submarines, etc.), minus the Utonium Residence house (even if animated in CGI), has been made to be realistic and look a lot like in Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft’s amateur flight simulator program for Windows, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Xbox Cloud Gaming Microsoft Flight Simulator (air vehicles), and the multi-platform game by Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto V Xbox Series X/S edition (buildings, houses, trees, buildings, the sky, places (the inside of the places as well), trees, water (oceans, lakes, pools, and ponds), and all land vehicles,). Because of the CGI used, The City of Townsville has then been made to look so realistic, and has been made to look a whole lot like Los Santos from Grand Theft Auto V. However, some parts have also been made to look like New York City.

In some scenes where it would be too hard to put in the 2D animated characters into the CGI animated vehicles, the crew at Bardel Entertainment madd CGI versions of the characters to put in the backgrounds or vehicles to substitute the 2D animated versions of the characters.

Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will also improve on their singing (on the musical numbers) during these seasons, and Blisstina will have an amazing singing voice (provided by Olivia Olson/Alesha Dixon in the UK, African, and Australian versions). for the musical numbers.

The fourth season will be in 2022, the fifth season will be from 2023-2024, and the sixth and final season will be in 2024.

Starting with Season 4, the series would have a new theme song which was sung by Blossom (Amanda Leighton), Bubbles (Kristen Li), Buttercup (Natalie Palamides), and Bliss (Olivia Olson). It was also used for the end credits in the film.

Starting with these seasons, Blossom redeemed herself back to being an intelligent, dutiful, and kind-hearted leader and abandon her “stereotypical, bratty, and mean-spirited” personality, Bubbles redeemed herself back to being the sweet and cheerful member of the four, while also having an amazing singing voice, her own Ice Form (based on the Ice Form/Suit Power-up from Super Mario), a kind heart, and a passion to grow up to become old and wise, and of course, she will abandoned her “psychotic, annoying, goody-two-shoes crybaby” personality, Buttercup abandoned her “complete bully” personality, banish all “butt-jokes” from her life forever, and redeemed herself into a tough but friendly model to her family and friends, and Blisstina appeared in more episodes of the reboot in Seasons 4-6, as she resigned as the member of the Universal Protection Bureau so that she will spend more time with her sisters, fight crime, and save Townsville alongside them; she also attended school with them. In the fifth episode, it’s time to pay the taxes, and while Bubbles is paying the taxes for Professor Utonium, she realizes Blossom was spending lots of money to build something. After she realizes who will pay the taxes after Bubbles left, Blossom goes in and tries to pay them, but since she didn’t know how to, she ends up writing a false amount, which is a very illegal type of tax evasion, landing her in jail, while she reunites with an old friend stuck in jail for tax evasion as well.

One of the other additions to this reboot is that Blisstina has her own bedroom, with a front doorway that leads straight to the Girls’ bedroom. The original songs for Seasons 4, 5, and 6 of the 2016 iteration of The Powerpuff Girls were written by The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part songwriter Jon Lajoie. The soundtrack album for the reboot was available on WaterTower Music. Seasons 4-6 also marked the return of Sedusa and Ms. Bellum, with Jennifer Hale and Jennifer Martin reprising their roles respectively. As a result of being renewed for three more seasons, the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls aired on the Cartoon Network channel again.

The first episode of Season 4 focused on Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and Professor Utonium giving Bliss a new room, after she quit the UPB to spend time with her family, while the second episode focused on Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and Bliss attending space camp for two weeks, and Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup explain to Bliss the events of Home, Sweet Homesick, while the four try the park attractions and carnival rides, and the third episode featured Ms. Bellum returning to Townsville after she cut her vacation days short due to missing him.

Danny Cooksey, Greg Cipes, and James Arnold Taylor voiced Brick, Boomer, and Butch respectively in Seasons 4-6, The LEGO Movie 3: A Powerpuff Adventure, and The Powerpuff Girls: The Movie: Generations. Adam McArthur will voice Blake, the fourth Rowdyruff Boy. These seasons were in tandem with the live-action reboot of The Powerpuff Girls on The CW.

Seasons 4-6 will have 1 or 2 songs for each episode. If it’s a double length episode, then it will have 3 songs. Each song will last 1 minute and 45 seconds. The narrator will also come back in Seasons 4, 5, and 6.

Starting with Season 4, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup went back to wearing their nightgowns for sleepwear. In addition, Bliss also had her own nightgown for sleepwear in light purple. She also had her own swimsuit.

Starting with Season 4, the intro and end credits will be updated to include Blisstina Utonium (with Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup still intact), with Craig McCracken coming back to Cartoon Network to join the 2016 collaborators.

As a result of Seasons 4, 5, and 6, much like Season 5 of the 2016 reboot of Ben 10, the animation was brilliant and a step-up from the previous three seasons, resulting in no more animation errors happening. Seasons 4, 5, and 6 were much more faithful to the original source material than the last two seasons, as it has more crime-fighting and less slice-of-life scenes, complete with musical numbers, heartwarming moments, and a lot of heart instead of cringe, toilet humor, memes, and twerking (which many considered the worst of one of the first three seasons) that Seasons 1, 2, and 3 had. Mojo utilizes his famous language and speech patterns again in Seasons 4, 5, and 6, Princess Morbucks was less greedy about money, the Mayor of Townsville redeemed himself back to being a 100% funny comic relief, and the Professor redeemed himself back to his characterization he had from the original series. Blossom still has a crush on Jared, Bubbles is still a computer geek, and Buttercup is still good at math. Pokey Oaks Kindergarten was fixed and reopen from Season 4 onward. Mitch Mitchelson also returned in the 2016 reboot, with Tom Kenny reprising his role.

As for Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, they were much like their 1998 counterparts. The reboot now felt like an actual reboot that’s done right. Craig McCracken came back to Cartoon Network to join the 2016 collaborators.

The LEGO Movie 3: A Powerpuff Adventure takes place between the fifth and sixth seasons of the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls, and The Powerpuff Girls: The Movie: Generations takes place after the sixth and final season.

There was also a 3D and Dolby Vision re-release of 2002’s The Powerpuff Girls Movie released on July 8, 2022, to honor the film’s 20th anniversary, and it was commercially successful, grossing over $900 million worldwide.

Animation
The traditional 2D animation will handled by South Korean animation studio Sunmin Image Pictures (2016 Powerpuff Girls) and Rough Draft Studios South Korea (1998 Powerpuff Girls) for Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California, while CGI animation for the 2014 Powerpuff Girls will be handled at British CGI animation studio Passion Pictures, and the anime-style animation for the Powerpuff Girls Z characters will be handled at Japanese animation studio Toei Animation, while the live-action versions of The Powerpuff Girls (from the CW live-action reboot) will be recorded in Georgia, which they will be put in green screens, and edited in. The animation for the LEGO Powerpuff Girls will be provided by Animal Logic, while the animation for the Funko Powerpuff Girls will be provided by Funko Animation Studios. The animation for the Teen Titans Go! versions of the Powerpuff Girls will be handled at Copernicus Studios and Bardel Entertainment, while the additional computer animation will be handled by Sony Pictures Imageworks, Reel FX Creative Studios, and Industrial Light & Magic, and Illumination as a result of Cartoon Network’s partnership with Universal and Illumination. Additional live-action scenes will also be recorded at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, and Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden. The film will be a combination of live-action, traditional animation, and computer animation.

On the same day, Tom Kenny confirmed that he will be voicing 2016 Professor Utonium, 1998 Professor Utonium, and the Talking Dog, replacing Tom Kane following his retirement from voice acting. Deadline Hollywood estimated the film would break even just five days after its release, which is "unheard of for a major studio tentpole during its opening weekend". The website eventually calculated the final net profit of the film to be $890 million, accounting for production budgets, marketing, talent participations, and other costs, with box office grosses, and ancillary revenues from home media, placing it first on their list of 2024's "Most Valuable Blockbusters".

On December 7, the film's earnings at the global box office became the fastest film ever to gross $2 billion worldwide, amassing the amount in only 11 days. It also became the fifth film to surpass this threshold, and the second film to surpass the threshold of $2.5 billion, doing so in just 20 days.

United States and Canada
The Powerpuff Girls: The Movie: Generations set the records on Fandango for most tickets sold by an animated film in that frame. The film was projected to gross $200–250 million domestically during its opening weekend, although some insiders saw those figures as conservative and expected a $260–300 million debut. By the week of its release, domestic estimates had risen to $260–270 million, with some insiders still suggesting a $300 million debut was possible. The film played in 4,662 theaters, 410 of which were in IMAX. The Powerpuff Girls: The Movie: Generations earned $357.1 million in its opening weekend. It also set records for Friday ($157.5 million, including $60 million from Thursday night previews), Saturday ($109.3 million), and Sunday ($90.4 million) totals, as well as was more of a total gross alone than the previous box office high of all films combined ($314 million). The film then made $36.9 million on Monday and $33.1 million on Tuesday, both the third-highest of all time. In its second weekend the film made $147.4 million (the second-best sophomore frame ever) for a 10-day total of $621.3 million. It was the fastest film to ever pass the $600 million milestone. The following week, the film grossed $64.8 million, the fourth-best third weekend ever. It also passed the $700 million mark. It made $17.2 million the following weekend (and a total of $22.3 million over the four-day Memorial Day frame), crossing the $800 million threshold domestically. During the re-release, which occurred over its tenth weekend, the film was added to 1,040 theaters and made $6.1 million, an increase of 207% from the previous weekend. In its thirteenth weekend the film made $1.2 million.

Overall, the film made $169 million on the first day from international countries, the highest total of all time. Its largest markets after China were India ($9 million), South Korea ($8.4 million; the largest non-holiday single day gross ever), Australia ($7.1 million), France ($6 million), and Italy ($5.8 million). * The scene where 2016 Blossom and Bliss sang "Brokenhearted" by Karmin while fighting off Mojo Jojo's evil primates is similar to the scene where Katie Mitchell and Rick Mitchell sang "Live Your Life" by Rihanna and T.I. while fighting off the PAL Max Prime robots from the 2021 Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation film The Mitchells vs. the Machines.

* The Powerpuff Time Machine is the third character for Olivia Colman to voice in animated film, after PAL from The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021) and Donka from Ron's Gone Wrong (2021).

* Violet is Abbi Jacobson's third animated character after Nya from The LEGO Ninjago Movie (2017) and Katie Mitchell from The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021).

*Bunny is Awkwafina's sixth animated character after the Quail from Storks (2016), Courtney from The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019), Otto from The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run (2020), Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon (2021), and Ms. Tarantula from The Bad Guys (2022).

*Bloom is Rachel Bloom's fourth animated character after Silver from The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019), Queen Barb from Trolls World Tour (2020), and Op from Extinct (2021).

* This is also the first time The Powerpuff Girls (2016) is PAL pitched in some countries, as when the series aired, the pitch remained the same.

* This is the final appearance of the narrator in the 2016 reboot storyline, though he returned in the 1998 series revival. He also returned in the sequel.

*This film premiered the day exactly 5 years after Frozen II (2019) released theatrically.

**This is the final time the Powerpuff Girls are animated at Sunmin Image Pictures. The follow-up series and spin-offs are animated at Copernicus Studios and Bardel Entertainment. However, Sunmin Image Pictures will return to provide the traditional animation for the sequel, since it is part of the Cartoon Network Cinematic Universe. It is to be a traditionally animated/live-action/computer animated hybrid production.

***Sunmin Image Pictures would originally plan to move on to animate the Minions TV series produced by Universal Pictures, Illumination, and Cartoon Network Studios for Cartoon Network and Peacock. The same crew members of the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls as well as the ones from Illumination will be involved with the new Minions TV series. The series will be based on the 2022 film Minions: The Rise of Gru.

*** Ultimately enough, it has been decided the series would be animated in CGI instead by Illumination Mac Guff in France. The series would have the same animation style, same frame rate, and same lighting as Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022). Technicolor Animation Studios in Bangalore, India also provides additional animation for the series. However, the Minions TV series has some 2D animated shorts with 2D animation provided by Sunmin Image Pictures and additional animation provided by Illumination. The 2D animation for the shorts is in the same style as The Powerpuff Girls (2016), but for the characters, the animation style will be the same as in Saturday Morning Minions. These 2D animated shorts can be seen at the end of every episode. Each episode of the series is to be 7 minutes and 59 seconds, with each short running 2 minutes.

****Rough Draft Studios South Korea returned to animate the revival of The Powerpuff Girls (1998) series. However, instead of using digital ink and paint, the animation crew at Rough Draft Studios South Korea animated the series with Toon Boom Harmony, which is something similar to how the animation crew at Rough Draft Studios South Korea did for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015), and unlike anything from The Powerpuff Girls (2016), the series is animated entirely in 2D.

* Cartoon Network also reached a multi-year music partnership with Universal Music Group in 2022 to develop and produce The Powerpuff Girls (2016) soundtracks featuring songs sung by Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and Bliss.

**The soundtrack albums for The Powerpuff Girls (2016) were released by Universal Music Group, as The Powerpuff Girls now appear courtesy of Universal Music Group (only for the PPG 2016 soundtracks released by UMG).

***The soundtracks featured songs that were sung by Blossom (Amanda Leighton), Bubbles (Kristen Li), Buttercup (Natalie Palamides), Bliss (Olivia Olson), Ringo Starr, Neil Morrissey, and Tacocat.

***Cartoon Network and Universal Music Group also made music videos featuring characters from various Cartoon Network shows, such as Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, We Bare Bears,Craig of the Creek, Steven Universe, Apple & Onion, and Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart.

****However, the soundtrack for The Powerpuff Girls Movie 2: Generations, as well as the soundtracks for the follow-up series and spin-offs, were released by WaterTower Music. Soundtracks from Cartoon Network shows, including The Powerpuff Girls (only for the 2016 reboot, follow-up series, and spin-offs), also continued to be available from WaterTower Music.

*While The LEGO Movie 3: A Powerpuff Adventure took place between the fifth season and the sixth and final season of the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls, this film took place after the sixth and final season.

**Because of the LEGO Powerpuff Girls being transported into the 2016 universe, The LEGO Movie 3: A Powerpuff Adventure is one of the universes connected within the Powerpuff Girls multiverse.

*The Powerpuff Girls from Bleedman's PPGD webcomic also got transported to the 2016 universe.

*Craig McCracken, the creator of the original Powerpuff Girls series, said that he approved this movie, along with Seasons 4, 5, and 6 of the 2016 reboot and The LEGO Movie 3: A Powerpuff Adventure.

*Months before production on the film finished, Warner Animation Group confirmed that a third The Powerpuff Girls film was in the early stages of development, which is also set to be an animated/live-action hybrid production.

*Due to the fact that Cartoon Network is no longer in Russia because of the actions of Russia towards Ukraine in 2022, this movie never got dubbed into Russian.

*Alongside the 2016 Powerpuff Girls series collaborators, as well as Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Daron Nefcy, Chris DeFaria, Pernelle Hayes, Eyal Podell, Jonathon E. Stewart, Allison Abbate, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, Nicholas Stoller, and Craig McCracken, certain crew members who worked on Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Amphibia, The Owl House, and Big City Greens were also involved with the film.

Little Red Naneta Hood (Akazukin Naneta) is a 2024 Japanese animated film.

Plot

Akana was going to deliver a box of flowers for her grandmother but since she has a broken leg from an accident, she decided to sent Naneta to deliver the flowers (she also request Naneta to wear a red hood since she is delivering flowers) but while Naneta was going to Akana's grandmother's house, Domohito, Naneta's 1-year older stalker who found his was to Tokyo, starts to follow her to "put her in her place".
